Russell Kirk's Ghostly Fiction Digitally Available

Russell Kirk's ghostly tales are the best in the genre, and are my favorite short stories. Reading them is like reading the Old Testament, Wendell Berry, Ray Bradbury, Charles Williams, M.R. James, and C.S. Lewis's That Hideous Strength all at the same time, though this description only begins to do these stories justice.

Listen to Dr. Kirk tell some true ghost stories by clicking here. Hear him read one of his masterpieces, "There's A Long, Long Trail A-Winding," as well as talk about ghostly tales, here.
